John Davey is the Principal Solicitor of our firm.
He has extensive experience in both the public and private sectors and was a one time legal adviser to the Australian Democrats in the Commonwealth Senate. Admitted to legal practice in South Australia, Victoria, the Australian Capital Territory and the High Court of Australia. John has also taught in the Migration Law Program at the Australian National University and was the attending solicitor at the Aids Action Council in Canberra for a number of years.
John’s expertise lies in commercial migration, partner and same sex couple relationships and dispute resolution law and maintains an active part in community activities and civil litigation.
John holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Sydney, a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Melbourne and a Graduate Certificate in Legal Practice from the University of South Australia and will be awarded his Masters in Law from the University of Melbourne Law School on the 6th December 2018 . He is presently studying part time for his Master of Laws at the University of Melbourne Law School
